FIRELOGUE is a 3-year Coordination and Support Action (CSA) project starting in 2021, funded under the European Green Deal call "Preventing and fighting extreme wildfires with the integration and demonstration of innovative means (LC-GD-1-1-2020)". The objective is to create a network and a platform for the discussion on the future of European Wildfire Risk Management (WFRM), engaging the entirety of actors involved in the WFRM community. It thereby focuses on the support of Innovation Action (IA) projects funded under the same call while simultaneously coordinating the integration of actors and findings into cross-sectoral WFRM recommendations towards achieving the Sendai Framework and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The presentation will report on the findings of a survey conducted during the first stage of the FIRELOGUE project, which was aimed to gain an overview of the case studies addressed by the respective IA projects, the actors involved, applied technologies, innovative wildfire management measures, and Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs). The generated knowledge will serve to consolidate a knowledge base that builds on the insights derived by or linked with the IA projects and will be made available via the FIRELOGUE platform.
