Viking CL215/415 landing gear maintenance specialist for over 20 years.
Antavia’s first involvement with the CL215/CL415 landing gears dates back to the year 2000 when Bombardier amphibious division started to subcontract its first units.
Antavia’s involvement with the program and the aircraft manufacturer never stopped since.
In January 2018 Viking Air and Antavia signed the First Factory Endorsed Component Centre (FECC) agreement for Viking’s global fleet of aerial firefighting aircraft.
As part of this agreement, Antavia is the first and only FECC landing gear maintenance provider for Viking’s Canadair CL215/CL215T/CL415/CL415EAF aircraft worldwide. This agreement was signed as the recognition of Antavia 20 years of CL215/CL415 landing gear support.
During this period, Antavia has repaired or overhauled more than 1 700 landing gear components and submitted more than 1 000 REO’s to Bombardier and Viking Air Limited. 90% of these REO have been successful and the parts reworked and returned to service, avoiding the costly scrap of major components. An excess of 70.000 man-hours have been spent to deliver a high-quality product, better protected to endure the harsh operational conditions of the CL215/CL415.
Amongst its many customers flying on 4 continents, Antavia is supporting more than half of CL215/CL415 active Aircraft.
