Bruno Darboux is Vice-President for Aerospace Ecosystem Development, in Airbus Corporate Affairs.
As such he takes all necessary actions to assure that the European and Global Aerospace Ecosystm engage proactively and collectively in the development of new sustainable technologies and a decarbonized Aviation.
He exercises several formal roles for the Aerospace Industry at National and International levels.
Specifically, he is President of the “Aerospace Valley” Competitiveness Cluster, a non-profit organization that gathers all industrial, academic and institutional actors engaged in the Development through Innovation of the Aerospace Sector in the South West of France.
Bruno Darboux has always been passionate about Aviation.
In his past career, he was involved in numerous developments of civil and military aircraft platforms, in Engineering and Program Management roles.
He initiated and led to the market key innovations towards increased Safety, Operational Efficiency and Sustainability of Air Operations.
In his successive assignments for Thales, ATR and Airbus, he managed large international teams, established collaborations with European academic and institutional partners, embarked suppliers selected on the market worldwide, and served a variety of customers, Commercial Airlines and Air Forces.
Bruno Darboux holds an Engineering Degree from ISAE “Sup’Aero”, the French Aerospace Engineering Institute.
